About
SWIRFlex-DT

SWIRFlex-DT is an EIC Pathfinder project developing breakthrough organic semiconductor technologies for shortwave infrared (SWIR) photodetection and imaging. The project pioneers ultra-low bandgap conjugated polymers and two-dimensional conjugated polymers (2DCPs) for the development of flexible, lightweight and scalable SWIR photodetectors and imaging systems.

By combining advanced materials synthesis, novel photodetector architectures and flexible imaging platforms, SWIRFlex-DT aims to reduce Europe’s reliance on InGaAs-based technologies and critical raw materials while advancing sustainable organic SWIR optoelectronics.
